 Erik had just turned 20 and was a friend to all.  This is how my son was raised.  Erik would give you his last and do without. But was this enough? Erik's death which was 100% avoidable led to this website.  My son was a premed student at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA. Erik served as the Student Senate's president and participated in mock trial, track and community service projects. My son was a strong leader and known for his intellect and affability.  The above school took my son on an ecotourism trip when the unthinkable happened.  His drowning caused me to start this website hoping to gain an awareness from parents, friends, school mates, etc to stop schools from killing our kids.  I am now the founder of this website.
